The successful contractor will be required to deliver the works in accordance with the endorsed Heritage Victoria documentation, permit conditions and Part B (Specification), Part C (General Conditions of Contract AS4000-2025) and Part D (Drawings and Supporting Information) of the tender documents. The objective of the project is to restore and conserve the heritage significance of the structure while maintaining its authenticity, character and long-term integrity.

The Contract is expected to include all activities necessary to complete the works, from site establishment through to practical completion.

Certain works are located within road reserves managed by the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP). Tenderers proposing to undertake these works must hold the applicable DTP prequalification. Refer to section 2.4 below for details.
