Details
South East Queensland was impacted by severe storms and rainfall between 24 December 2023 and 3 January 2024 resulting in a disaster declaration. As a result of the declaration, Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) (Category D) were made available, including environmental recovery funding, to support the recovery of, and build resilience in, the impacted protected areas, in this case by undertaking weed management activities.
The Customer is seeking to engage a suitably experienced Supplier(s) and sub-contractor, if required, to complete weed management work within protected areas of the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim. The Customer intends for the first round of works is to be completed by 31 December 2025 with possible further works complete by 30 June 2027. The possible further works will be allocated based on Supplier performance during the initial works.
