Please could you clarify the following:

1. Will Council consider alternative equipment models or manufacturers that meet equivalent play value, safety, and compliance standards, or are the listed items mandatory?

2. If alternatives are considered, what is the evaluation criteria (cost, aesthetics, availability, warranty, maintenance, etc.)?

3. Is Council seeking a like-for-like install or is innovation/design enhancement encouraged within the concept design stage?

4. Are there required themes or design outcomes for the “Australiana Park” concept beyond equipment selection?

5. Can submissions be provided for playground areas only (Areas 1 & 2) and exclude Area #3 fitness equipment?

6. Does Council require subsurface drainage beneath softfall and structures?

7. Are there existing geotechnical reports available?

8. Are there known underground services?

9. Is FRP specified as fibre reinforced concrete or another treatment? (Needs clarification.)

10. Are stormwater connections required for paved or hardstand areas?

11. The scope requests a provisional sum for shade—does Council have: Preferred style (shade sails vs steel shelters)?, Minimum shade coverage percentage, Colour palette requirements? Does Council require anti-vandal discs?

12. Is the contractor to design, supply & install the Gully Bridge? If so, what are the details for the bridge?

13. What is Council’s preferred lighting product, design intent and lighting outcome (safety, decorative, pathway compliance)?

14. Are there illumination standards to meet (lux levels / CPTED requirements)?

15. Is smart control, solar lighting, or timer functionality required?

16. Will Council nominate approved lighting suppliers or poles?

17. Who provides electrical connection point and power source confirmation?

18. Are CAD base files, survey files, or existing site levels and contours available digitally available for the site?

19. Will Council assist with internal approvals (parks, planning, assets), or is contractor fully responsible?

20. Are development approvals expected, or are works considered exempt?

21. Are environmental approvals or vegetation permits anticipated?

22. Are there heritage, flood, or waterway constraints due to proximity to culverts?

23. What is Council’s allocated project budget ex GST?

24. Is the provisional sum for shade included within the overall budget ceiling?

25. Is independent playground compliance auditing required at completion?
