Established in 1991, the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is the Queensland Government’s high performance sports agency responsible for preparing Queensland elite athletes, teams and coaches for world class success.

QAS is looking for ONE experienced Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with 2+years' experience working in High Performance Systems to provide services for 5 days per week.

Based in Brisbane, this role is responsible for the provision of Physiotherapy support to athletes in the Football Queensland pathways (including Brisbane Roar Women’s program) as well as to categorized podium, developing and emerging athletes in the QAS Women's Football and Medal Support program. Work will be conducted from the QSAC and other affiliated training facilities. You will also be responsible for developing strategies to support exceptional High-Performance outcomes. Travel in the role to support events both Nationally and Internationally is expected.

The proposed contract is for an initial term from 7 July 2025 to 28 February 2027, with an option to extend for a further 2 years till 28 February 2029 at the discretion of QAS.

Responses are sought from individual practitioner/s who have the appropriate qualifications, experience, expertise and capacity to provide the required services.
