The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for submissions for the design and construction of external works at Queensland Academy of Health Sciences (QAHS), located at 102 Edmund Rice Drive, Southport QLD 4215.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a minimum PQC rating Level 2

Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.

The works are across multiple areas in the school to design and construct an outdoor learning area complete with terracing and a roof structure, new covered entry to the lecture theatre, new covered area in the centre of the school, covered walkways and drainage rectification works. The school site has numerous constraints including working space, access and staging of the works is required. Works are to be completed by February 2026.

Details of the site inspection will be advised in the email and letters to tenderers.
