The Shire of Loddon is a local government area in Victoria, Australia, located in the northern part of the state. It covers an area of 6,696 square kilometres (2,585 sq mi) and in June 2018 had a population of 7,513.

It includes the towns of Inglewood, Boort, Serpentine, Pyramid Hill and Wedderburn. It was formed in 1995 from the amalgamation of the Shire of East Loddon, Shire of Gordon, Shire of Korong, and parts of the Rural City of Marong, Shire of Bet Bet, Shire of Maldon and Shire of Tullaroop.

The purpose of the project is to install new footpath at Boort and renew footpath at Korong Vale and Wedderburn. The main scope of works as given below.

• Renewal of existing asphalt footpath with concrete and all associated works at Allen St, Korong Vale ~260 Sqm as per drawing 8992.1.

• Renewal of existing asphalt footpath with concrete and all associated works at intersection of High St, Wedderburn and St Arnaud Road ~100Lm as per drawing 8993.1.

• Install new concrete footpath and all associated works at Nolens Park (Including at James Boyle Hall), Godfrey Street, Boort. ~134 Sqm as per drawing 8889.1.

NOTE:

• Please refer to VicRoads Standard Section 160, 163, 166, 176, 201, 204, 610, 611, 614, 620, 703, 705, 801 that applies to these works.

• Ensure proper traffic management/pedestrian access. Submit pedestrian management plan before construction begins.

• Coordinate with Telstra subcontractor (if applicable) to ensure the footpath works aligns with the height of utility lids (Korong Vale)
