Question:
We'd like to understand the broader context and have the below clarifying questions relating to the Request for Quote:

1. Given the DETSI Enterprise Data Platform is in its early rollout phase, is the organisation looking to move off an existing Synapse implementation and migrating to Databricks (since both products are on the architectural diagram), or is Synapse newly implemented alongside Databricks?

2. Is the organisation after a managed data platform service, or looking to build out a team along with the data platform for ongoing maintenance?

3. If Synapse is the existing data platform, do the organisation's four business units have permissions to create objects and run queries on Synapse?

4. Are there any specific analytical tools that the organisation's business units use (ie.dbt)?

5. Does each analytics project/solution have resources who develop and deploy their solution via Github Actions or is there reliance on support from a central cloud or data platform team/managed service provider?

6. Based on the reference architecture, it seems all analytics projects/solutions are spokes in a hub-and-spoke model, is the data platform another spoke and those projects/solutions expect to have connectivity to the data platform spoke?

7. Given there is both public and private networking requirements (Cloudfare is specified on the architectural diagram), is there a necessity to host data in a DMZ equivalent or is routing via Cloudfare sufficient from a cybersecurity perspective (ie. is there any SENSITIVE classifications for the data stored)?

Question:
To give an indication of size/scope of the Data Platform environment could you please provide the current Azure monthly cost for the Data Platform (and projected Azure cost in 12 months)?

If uncomfortable with a specific amount, could you provide a range or approximate.

Thank you
