1. INTRODUCTION

Logan City Council (Council) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified hydraulic and hydrology consultants with demonstrated experience and capability to undertake a comprehensive review of the Logan and Albert Rivers Flood Study, as outlined in the proposed scope of work.

2. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST QUESTIONS

Any questions and responses shall be collated, documented and distributed to all respondents to ensure equity and fairness to all. All enquiries in relation to this expression of interest must be submitted via VendorPanel.

3. IMPORTANT DATES

Advertisement Date: 28 November 2025

Final date and time for accepting questions: 16 December 2025, 2pm AEST

Closing date and time for expression of interest: 19 December 2025, 2pm AEST

I have a question relating to Section 1a of the brief, subsection 4 PROPOSED SCOPE OF INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF THE LOGAN AND ALBERT RIVERS FLOOD STUDY, dot point 3. "Confirm process of catchment walk overs support modelling." Could you please clarify whether this item of the scope relates to providing a review opinion on whether a catchment walk over process reported in the flood study was adequate to support modelling? Alternatively, please confirm whether the brief is calling for the reviewers to walk the catchment to confirm the floodplain model configuration. Many thanks!

Answer: This item refers to reviewing the extent of field validation undertaken by the original consultant to support the flood model. It is not intended to require the independent reviewer to conduct new catchment walkovers. Council will work with the successful respondent to determine the most appropriate way to provide advice on this matter.
