Question
:
Q1 Missing sections in the EOI document The EOI document numbering runs 1 to 5, then jumps to 15 (Evaluation Criteria), 17 (Consultant Requirements) and 21 (Project Delivery and Indicative Timeframe). Could GAWB confirm whether sections 6 to 14, 16, and 18 to 20 have been omitted from the issued document, and if so, whether the complete document will be reissued. We want to be sure we are responding to the full set of conditions.
Q2 Response format and length Is there a required format, template, or page or word limit for the response to each of the six questions? If no limit applies, is there a preferred length GAWB would find most useful?
Q3 Supporting documentation and confidentiality Each question asks respondents to upload all supporting documentation. Much of our relevant evidence consists of client deliverables held in confidence. Would GAWB accept redacted extracts, or summary case studies with referee contacts, in place of complete client documents? Could GAWB also confirm how respondent material will be handled and whether it will be disclosed beyond the evaluation panel.
Q4 Evaluation weightings and shortlist Will weightings be applied across the six evaluation criteria, and if so, could these be published? Could GAWB also indicate how many respondents it expects to shortlist for the next procurement stage, and whether that stage will be open only to shortlisted respondents.
Q5 Team composition across entities May a respondent propose a delivery team drawn from more than one entity, that is a lead consultancy with named subcontract consultants? If so, should the experience examples relate to the respondent entity, to the named individuals, or to both?
Q6 Existing information available to the consultant To help us understand the discovery effort in weeks 1 and 2, could GAWB indicate what existing material will be made available to the successful consultant, for example production and sales data for barramundi, any prior market research, pricing history, and current customer records.
Q7 Mainstream Aquaculture arrangements The EOI states the consultant must have regard to existing contractual and intellectual property arrangements, including relevant arrangements with Mainstream Aquaculture. Will the relevant terms of those arrangements, or a summary of the constraints they impose, be made available to the successful respondent at the next stage?
Q8 Referees Does GAWB require referee contact details for the examples provided at this EOI stage, or will these be sought at the next procurement stage?

Further answers to supplier questions as follows:
Q6 – Existing information available to the consultant
GAWB will work collaboratively with the successful respondent to provide access to relevant existing information supporting the discovery and analysis phases. Where available and relevant, this includes historical production, sales, pricing, financial, operational, and market data for Aquaculture Gladstone and its products. The successful respondent will also have access to GAWB personnel to assist with understanding this information, the operational context, and current commercial activities. Precise information requirements can be further refined during project commencement.
Q7 – Mainstream Aquaculture Arrangements
GAWB will not provide access to the existing contractual documentation or intellectual property arrangements with Mainstream Aquaculture due to confidentiality and commercial sensitivity. However, GAWB recognises that the consultant needs to understand the relevant commercial, contractual, and IP parameters to develop the Commercial Growth Strategy. Subject to confidentiality arrangements, GAWB will provide the successful respondent at the next stage with a summary of the constraints, limitations, and parameters arising from these arrangements. This approach ensures sufficient information to complete the scope of work while preserving GAWB’s contractual obligations.
