Corinda State School - Minor Works - Block C E F G, Prep

The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for the refurbishment and internal upgrade works across Blocks C, E, F, G and the Prep Block at Corinda State High School, located at 330 Cliveden Avenue, Corinda QLD 4075.

The works generally include the permanent infill of existing operable partition openings, construction of new internal walls with acoustic insulation, installation of new floor finishes, internal repainting, accessibility compliance upgrades, new internal door installations, and associated make-good works, as detailed within the tender documentation.

1.Tender Closing Date – Revised

Tenderers are advised that the Tender Closing Date has been brought forward as follows:

Tender submissions must be received by the revised closing date and time. Late submissions may not be accepted.

2.Contractor Scope – Design and Finishes Coordination

Tenderers are advised that, as part of the tendered scope of works, the nominated Contractor is required to allow for working collaboratively with the School and the Superintendent following contract award to finalise detailed design elements and internal finishes. Please refer highlighted section in the attached the updated scope document 1. Corinda State School Minor Works - Contractor Scope.R4.

This includes, but is not limited to, coordination and consultation regarding finishes, colours, fixtures, fittings, and minor layout refinements within the approved project scope and budget. No additional cost or time claims will be accepted for this coordination unless expressly approved in writing by the Superintendent.

Tenderers are also reminded that as-built drawings, including any design or layout changes implemented during construction, are to be provided at project completion as part of the Practical Completion deliverables.

All other tender conditions remain unchanged.
