Good morning Sarah,

There are only two attachments (or Files) with this EOI, noted below.

1. Doing Business with Council - A guide for Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers.pdf

2. Expression of Interest (EOI) - Social Procurement Supplier Register.docx

There is no issue from our end in downloading the attachments individually or as a ZIP file. If the issue persists, please contact VendorPanel directly as it may be a systems issue from the supplier end.

Does Council consider a business owned and controlled by a person who is the Australian born child of migrant parents, from a culturally and linguistically diverse background, to be a Diverse-Owned Business for the purposes of the Register? Please advise whether Council applies a definition or requires supporting evidence.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Council welcomes applications from all businesses seeking inclusion on the Register. The Register is intended to support and promote diverse suppliers and is not intended to be limiting or exclusionary.

To assist with assessing your eligibility, please provide any supporting information or documentation you consider relevant. Council will review the information provided and assess applications on a case-by-case basis against the Register's criteria and objectives.

Could Council please confirm whether submissions will be assessed and successful suppliers added to the Social Procurement Supplier Register progressively as EOIs are received, or whether assessment and onboarding will commence after the closing date of 18 December 2026?

Good morning Lee,

The submissions are locked in VendorPanel and will not be accessed until the closing date of 18 December.

As this is the first time Council has undertaken a register process of this nature, we wanted to allow sufficient time for suppliers to respond and ensure the opportunity was advertised broadly to the community and the market.

We will endeavour to advise successful suppliers at the beginning of 2027.

Question:
Hi,

I am preparing a submission for the Social Procurement Supplier Register EOI on behalf of Ethical Governance Pty Ltd, a woman-owned corporate governance and management consulting business.

The EOI documentation identifies Professional Services as an eligible service category. However, the VendorPanel Response Wizard only displays supplier lists relating to areas such as advertising, architecture, trades and equipment, with no Professional Services option.

Could you please advise which supplier list we should select to proceed with our submission?

Hi Sanela,

VendorPanel limits the number of categories that can be selected when creating a request. We initially tried to select all categories but had to reduce the selection due to this limitation.

If you select any category, we will refer only to the category noted in your EOI response, not VendorPanel.
