Question
:
Greetings,
Could you please clarify if GPC will have projects in the Renewable Energy space, particularly Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Microgrid?
Thank you
Answered on 17/Mar/2026 12:06 PM
:
Thank you for your question.
GPC is seeking to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement with suppliers who can deliver the majority of the required electrical engineering services—HV, LV, and Control & Instrumentation, including RPEQ certified engineering—through their own internal capability.
We understand that certain niche or highly specialised elements, such as aspects of renewable energy design or advanced protection and control studies, may require the use of external specialist partners. This is acceptable where clearly identified, provided the supplier maintains responsibility for overall coordination, quality, and delivery.
GPC's preference is to engage with vendors who possess strong in house expertise across the core scope and can supplement this with specialist resources only where necessary, ensuring an integrated and reliable service offering. Regards, KH
