The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for the design and construction (D&C) of the Ed4All project at Albany Hills State School. This tender is for a principal contractor to undertake the entire scope of works.

The project scope entails various upgrades to school access including applying high contrast paint, building access ramps, installing accessible signage, creating access pathways, installing pole padding and more. The works are to be completed in accordance with the School Accessibility report. Works to be delivered during the April school holidays.

The appointed principal contractor will be responsible for the full scope of works including design and obtaining the relevant certifications. The contractor must deliver a solution that reflects the school’s vision while meeting all applicable building codes, Australian Standards, and DoE guidelines.

Tenderers must hold the following licences and insurances, with proof to be provided upon request:

• QBCC Licence

• Professional Indemnity Insurance (to value of $1 million in accordance with the contract)

• Public Liability Insurance

• WorkCover Insurance
