The Scope of Works outlines the internal electrical requirements for the new shed (DGPOs, internal lighting, external floodlights), however it does not specify how power is to be supplied to the structure.

Could RQ please confirm the following so all tenderers can price consistently:

Source of electrical supply – Is the shed to be connected to an existing metered supply on site, or is a new dedicated meter required?

Location of the incoming supply point – Please advise the intended point of connection or provide a site plan showing the nearest available supply.

Switchboard requirements – Should tenderers allow for a new main switchboard/sub-board at the shed, or will an existing board be utilised?

Coordination with Ergon Energy – Should tenderers include allowances for any required service upgrades, metering changes, or approvals?

This clarification will ensure all tenderers price the electrical component on a consistent basis.

A: Tenderers are not required to include allowances for Ergon Energy service upgrades, metering changes or network approvals. The proposed shed will be supplied from the existing switchboard adjacent to the works. Tenderers should allow for all electrical works necessary to connect the shed to the existing switchboard.
