Question:
Can council provide the Response Schedules in native format?

Answered on 06/Feb/2025 10:37 AM:

I have now uploaded the response schedule in word format.

Question:
1. Site Visits

Our interpretation of the “Schedule of Understanding of Requirement” is that the council mandates that each tenderer physically visit each site before submitting their tender response.

Can council confirm that this is the case, and if so, will council make these sites available for our organisation to visit prior to tender submission?

2. Overlapping statements in Sections 4.5 and 4.6.

Section 4.5 and Section 4.6 of Volume 3 appear to contain overlap between hardware that is freely issued by the council and materials that are provided by the contractor.

Can council provide further guidance on the distinction between the two?

3. Volume of work

Can council provide any further guidance on the volume of works and number of staff that they anticipate will be needed to fulfil this RFQ?

We understand that this may be elastic, but we would like to ensure we are right-sizing our offer to council’s requirements.

No site visit necessary for tender responses.

Assume under the contract Council will free issue hardware. However as each project is developed, Council and the successful tenderer can discuss cost effective purchasing arrangements as required. Major upgrades may need to be quoted separately.

Unable to provide exact estimates of volume of work required. The preferred supplier will be required to provide estimates in accordance with the schedule of rates under the contract for Council projects from time-to-time. Council will provide a list of tasks as well as a required completion date if known. The preferred supplier’s estimate must include a list of the level of engineer/technician to complete each task, an estimate of hours required, and a proposed completion date.
