The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of site accessible footpaths, and outdoor learning area at Buddina SS, located at Cnr of Iluka Avenue and Tumut Street, Buddina QLD 4575, as part of the Ed4All (ED4ALL) program.
The construction area is located between blocks C and D for the outdoor learning area and accessible footpaths across the campus. The site has reasonable access from the school car park. The scope of works includes but is not limited to the design and construction of a new outdoor learning area, incorporating a bike track, softfall climbing mounds, timber balance beams and log steppers, sandpit, timber seating area and platform stage, and a vegetable garden, as well as site accessible footpaths. All works are to be completed by October 2025.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
