Question:
Hello there,

We would like to clarify below couple of questions to ensure integration capabilities and/or narrow down right-fit vendor options for the RFI response.

Can you please help us clarify, does the Children's Health QLD HHS have an established vendor solutions for their wifi infrastructure (example - Cisco etc) and similarly is there any standardized meeting room or AV vendor solution implemented (example - Logitech etc)

The Appointment booking system mentioned in the RFI Requirements document is that a particular pre-existing software vendor?

Best Regards.

Hi

At this stage, we are not able to provide detailed technical information. However, we can confirm that Cisco provides the underlying network infrastructure. Any further detail beyond this is considered proprietary information.

The appointment booking system in use is Cerner ESM, supplied by Oracle Health.

Thanks Melanie

Question:
Good afternoon,

The pricing model that our solution is based on is number of users. Can you please confirm the follow to assist with high level pricing:

How many staff will be using the system e.g. How many counters and staff that call patients

Will there be concierge roles

Estimated number of other users such as - Admin, IT, management

How many kiosks

How many displays

Thank you

Answered on 10/Feb/2026 12:22 PM:

Hi

CHQ does not yet have confirmed user volumes. Please provide indicative pricing using scalable user bands or example scenarios (e.g. small/medium/large), including assumptions for different user roles, kiosks, and displays. Pricing will be used for indicative purposes only.

Thanks Melanie

Question:
Hey guys - we were wondering if you could please answer the following questions:

Network & Hardware Integration

Cisco Spaces: Given that Cisco provides the underlying network infrastructure, is CHQ already licensed for, or utilizing, Cisco Spaces for asset tracking or occupancy analytics?

Hardware Standards: Does CHQ have a preferred vendor or hardware standard for wall-mounted tablets (e.g., iPad, Android, or Cisco Webex Room Navigator)? Additionally, are there specific clinical 'infection control' requirements for the hardware mounting and materials?

Software & Integration

Cerner ESM API: For the integration with Cerner ESM (Oracle Health), does CHQ have existing API gateways or middleware in place for third-party integrations, or should we factor in the development of a custom connector?

Sign-on: Will the solution be required to integrate with Queensland Health's single sign-on (SSO) or Azure Active Directory for clinician authentication?

Thanks.

Answered on 12/Feb/2026 10:57 AM:

Hi

CHQ has not defined specific infrastructure, hardware standards, or confirmed integration requirements (including Cisco Spaces, Cerner ESM, or SSO/Azure AD) at this stage. For the purposes of this RFI, respondents should assume a software-based solution and outline hardware or integration dependencies separately, with costs clearly itemised.

CHQ acknowledges that indicative pricing provided in response to this RFI may not fully reflect the final service requirements. The intent of this RFI is to understand the market and inform a potential future Invitation to Offer (ITO), at which time detailed and confirmed requirements will be provided.

Thanks Melanie

Question:
Hi,

Does this need to be provided as a software service or a mix of hardware and services?

Thanks

Answered on 11/Feb/2026 01:11 PM:

Hi

At this stage, the RFI is intended only to understand the market and identify whether there are potential solutions available for a clinical room booking system. We are currently seeking indicative pricing for software services only.

Thanks Melanie
