Eurobodalla is located on the New South Wales south coast and enjoys a reputation as a water and nature lovers' paradise. We have 83 beaches, four major river systems and lakes, and many islands and estuaries all occupied by a rich variety of sea, bird and animal life. Our 110 kilometres of coastline includes the Batemans Marine Park and 3,400 square kilometres of land. More than 80 percent of the land is either national park or state forest.

Our three major towns are Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma, and there are many smaller villages that each have a strong rural and coastal heritage and indigenous culture. The local economy was once based on dairying, forestry and fishing and is now driven by tourism, agriculture and fishing, retail and property, and has an emerging arts, health, education and wellbeing sector.

Eurobodalla Shire Council is calling for tenders to design and construct a new sports amenity facility at Batemans Bay. Building is to be constructed in the style of transportable/demountable buildings

Project is to be completed by October 2027

The local AFL sports club has entered the regional league level. The AFL has minimum facility guidelines and the current onsite facilities do not cover these regional requirements. The project is to build an additional stand alone facility with the additional requirement considered in the design.

The desired out come is to provide the local AFL sports club with the minimum facility requirement to meet the regional league guidelines.
