Answered on 21/Sep/2026 08:06 AM:

Please confirm how long the building is expected to be in service.

The proposed facility is expected to have an indicative operational lifespan of approximately 10 years. Metro South Health is seeking market feedback on the anticipated life expectancy of available solutions, including their ability to be relocated, repurposed, or expanded throughout their service life. This information will assist in informing future planning and procurement decisions.

Please provide more clarity regarding the site location.

The site is a parcel of land adjacent to the existing car park ring road and has previously been utilised as a site shed location. Future procurement activities would require respondents to undertake their own site investigations and assessment and propose the most suitable facility positions within the available area. Further site-specific details will be provided during any subsequent procurement process.
