Question:
Good evening,

Can council confirm.

1. "Removal of nominated fraction of raw or mulched material from Sites at Principal’s direction" Would this product be directed to a site by the principal or will the contractor be required to source a disposal/reuse location?

2. Is there an estimated annual volume of oversize stumps and logs to be sheared?

1. The Contractor will be required to source a disposal/reuse location.

2. There is limited information pertaining to this. As an estimate, Townsville City Council receives approximately 200m3 (pre-shred, loose material in stockpile) per annum of oversized material. During FY26, Hinchinbrook Shire Council had 10t of oversized which required processing, however this was from a Council activity which does not occur frequently. Burdekin Shire Council and Charters Towers Regional Council do not have an estimate of volume/weight, however, note not much is received.

Hello, we would like to be included in the Tender Briefing scheduled for 28 Sep 2026 and note there are two different cut-off dates provided for registration: 11/09/2026 & 16/09/2026.

Can you confirm we are not too late and that this is the correct way to request registration?

To avoid confusion, Council will accept late registrations until 23/09/26.
