On the 12th May 2016 Ashfield, Leichhardt and Marrickville councils were merged into a new council, known as the Inner West Council, by the NSW State Government under their reform program for councils. The proclamation from the NSW State Government carries over the codes, plans, strategies and policies of former councils, and makes them the codes, plans, strategies and policies of the new council. This is to ensure that the new council continues to have codes, plans, strategies and policies in place to guide its operation.

Inner West Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for acoustic works to various Town Halls.



There will be a non-mandatory project briefing held at 9:30am on Wednesday 11 February 2026. Interested Respondents are asked to meet at the entrance to Marrickville Town Hall – 303 Marrickville Rd, Marrickville, prior to the starting time.
