Tamworth Regional Council is a local government area in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. The area under administration is located adjacent to the New England Highway and the Main North railway line. It was established in March 2004 through the amalgamation of the former City of Tamworth with surrounding shires of Barraba, Manilla, Nundle and Parry.

Tamworth Regional Council (“Council”) operates a range of venues throughout Tamworth including the Tamworth Regional Entertainment & Conference Centre (“TRECC”). This Tender seeks catering operators (“Contractors”) to express interest as to the operation of food services at TRECC at functions only. Functions at TRECC are typically at arm’s length to Council operations. Those catering operators who submit to this tender, if found to be appropriate for such service, will appear on a list of preferred operators for selection by a third-party client who may hire TRECC for their own purposes.
