The Scenic Rim region is a thriving rural paradise set in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and surrounded by world heritage listed national parks. The Scenic Rim region contains more than 30,000 hectares of parkland, including national parks and council controlled parks. The region also contains three dams: Lake Moogerah, Lake Maroon and Wyaralong Dam. Supported by a thriving economy, a farming industry and a vibrant arts community, the Scenic Rim has a strong community spirit and friendly locals.

Scenic Rim Regional Council invites quotations for the removal of refrigerant gas from decommissioned appliances located at six (6) Waste Resource and Recovery Facilities and two (2) depots, for a two (2) year period from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2027, with two (2) optional one (1) year extensions through to 31 August 2029.
