With total assets of $8.0 billion, and a network that extends more than 6,600 kilometres across the state, we are also focused on providing customers and Queenslanders with an efficient and value for money service.
Our 7,500 strong workforce delivers services across our South East Queensland and Regional networks, including Travel and Tourism services and Regional Freight.
Our South East Queensland team provides 8,392 services each week, supporting our customers to reach their destination safely and on-time. In 2019-2020, 44 million passenger trips were taken on the South East Queensland network (a decrease of approximately 20 per cent compared to 2018-2019, associated with COVID-19).
The Regional networks commuter and rail tourism markets are serviced by the Travel and Tourism products. These comprise eight services connecting Regional communities across Queensland with other Regional centres and the South East Queensland corner. These services support the Queensland tourism industry through the provision of unique rail tourism experiences including special events and charters through the operation of a small fleet of heritage services.
Our Regional networks and Freight team provides rail access for freight operators and other Queensland Rail supply chain customers to enable the critical transport of resources and general freight across the state.

Queensland Rail invites suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit a tender for inclusion on a Coaching & Development Panel.

The panel will support Queensland Rail's commitment to developing leadership capability and workforce effectiveness across both operational and corporate environments. Successful suppliers will partner with Queensland Rail to deliver high-quality coaching and professional development services that build organisational capability, support career progression, and enhance leadership effectiveness across the business.

The panel arrangement will be established for an initial period of two (2) years, with options to extend at Queensland Rail's discretion.

Suppliers may submit proposals for one or both of the following service categories:

Category 1: Coaching Services

Provision of individual and group coaching services designed to support employees and leaders at various organisational levels, including leadership development, performance improvement, career progression, and succession readiness.

Category 2: Professional Development Workshops

Design and delivery of engaging, practical and innovative professional development workshops aligned to Queensland Rail's capability and leadership development objectives.

Suppliers should clearly articulate their methodologies, experience, and areas of specialisation, including how their services align with Queensland Rail's Capability and Level of Work Frameworks.
