Question
:
Hi,
We are currently preparing a submission for VP500666- DRFA March 2025 Sealed Roads Package 2 and seek clarification regarding prequalification requirements.
The VendorPanel Q&A notes that TMR Prequalification to R2 and F2 is required for these contracts. However, our review of Part C Specifications (Section 4.1.1) indicates a requirement for CM3 prequalification, with no specific reference to TMR prequalification.
Could you please confirm how Council intends to assess prequalification for this tender, and whether contractors demonstrating relevant experience and capability in delivering works in accordance with MRTS/MRS specifications would be considered where TMR prequalification is not currently held?
Thank you for your clarification.
Answered on 14/Apr/2026 01:53 PM
:
Council requires TMR Prequalification to R2 and F2.
The CM3 prequalification and is a separate process for suppliers to submit insurance documentation to Council.
Council will not consider suppliers who do not currently hold the required TMR prequalification.
