LOCATION: Urana St (West) to the Ashmont Sewer Pump Station (SPS23), Wagga Wagga
DESCRIPTION: The project involves the diversion of the gravity sewer main at Urana St to the Ashmont Sewer Pump station.
A pre-tender briefing will be held on Tuesday 2nd June at 10AM. Meeting point is Wagga Wagga City Council Meeting Room, 243 Baylis Street, Wagga Wagga. Registration to attend the briefing can be made via email procurement@wagga.nsw.gov.au.
Whilst this briefing is or is not compulsory consultants are encouraged to attend to obtain a firsthand understanding of the works required.
The Tender Returnable Forms and Schedules (Parts B1 & B2) must be completed and returned as a minimum.
Where Tender Returnable Schedules asks for other information or documentation please supply that documentation.

Council grants a 2-week extension to the closing date for this tender so as to provide suppliers adequate time to quote and finalise their submissions. This will bring the closing date to 2pm Monday 29 June, 2026.

Upon checking in the tender documents, it appears that the mandatory/non-mandatory attendance for the pre-tender briefing is ambiguous, taking reference on the statement "Whilst this briefing is or is not compulsory consultants are encouraged to attend to obtain a firsthand understanding of the works required".
We would like to confirm if the pre-tender briefing is compulsory and its non-attendance may deem disqualification for the tender evaluation. Kindly advise. Thank you!
