Conduit and cabling provisions to support the future installation of 2 additional ring pole lights center to arena at the North and South ends. is this suppose to be stage 3? if not can you mark up on the plans so we know where this needs to go
Answered on 26/Nov/2024 11:00 AM

Question
:
On the plan E02 is shows the Lions shed, stage & broadcast box are included on stage 1 (in red) however on plan E01 it's not highlighted with any stage. Can you please confirm if this is just a reconnection in stage 1 or does it require new undergrounds as stated in E02.

(edited on 04/Dec/2024 06:21 AM)
Q1:
Please allow for new undergrounds as stated in E02. As per the Single Line & Control Diagrams please treat these works as part of Stage 1.
Additional Questions:
Q2:
"The Consumers Mains that are on the Single Line & Control Diagrams as 70mmsq X-90 Copper cables are not rated for the 200 Amp Supply (the 70mmsq cable is rated at 142 Amps “Wiring Enclosure in Air” and 170 Amps “Underground Wiring Enclosure”.) Minimum Size Cable would be 120mmsq Copper X-90 Cable rated at 202 Amps “Wiring Enclosure in Air” and 237 Amps “Underground Wiring Enclosure”.
Answer:
EPA Energy have realised the issue as we have inadvertently sized these based on them being a service main and not a consumer’s mains, as 200A service mains have designated cable sizes that must be used, which is 70sqmm.
As these are a consumer’s mains and not a service main, then we can use a cable based on the rating, which in this case should be 120sqmm X90 cable not 70sqmm X-90 cable.
So please be advised that the mains cables should 4 x1C 120sqmm X-90 cable.
Updated IFC Drawings will be provided post tender award.
Q3:
Will the Halytech Illuminator Controller be supplied by MCC or are we to Supply and Install?
Answer:
Halytech Illuminator Controller to be supplied and installed by contractor.

Question
:
Question 1 - Can you please confirm if the 120mm X-90 cable is from the fuses on the private pole above the MSB?
Question 2 - Will there be updated MSB drawings to reflect the request for a generator change over switch. None of this is stated in E02.
Answered on 04/Dec/2024 09:43 AM
:
Question 1 - Confirmed by EPA Energy
Question 2 - Yes, this will be illustrated in IFC Drawing Set as mentioned in Tender Clarifications Letter

Question
:
Question 1 -
You have stated in another question we need to now re-feed the Stage4 and Broad cast box. is this using existing conduits and just installing new Cabling? Or re-trenching with new conduits. When onsite the electricians had informed us to just re-connect the existing services. Can you please clarify.
Answered on 04/Dec/2024 09:32 AM
:
If existing services remain, please re-connect - Lions Shed, Kiosk and Bar.
Where there is new Supply, please allow for new Cable and Conduit - Broadcast Box.

Question
:
Hi, Do you have a photo of the 3rd camping power board that needs to be reinstalled. is there and engineering detail for its base concrete footing or is its footing still attached and re-useable?
Answered on 05/Dec/2024 01:20 PM

Photos will be attached as an addendum.
Please note the reinstatement of Power Board is simple - Post and Quickset Cement. Standard Install method is with 4 Bags of concrete mix.

Question
:
Generator connection was discussed on site with manual discrimination of energised circuits. Is a manual transfer switch required for this? will you require a lockable terminal box for generator connection or a socket arrangement. Can you please advise the maximum current provision for the generator connection?
Answered on 06/Dec/2024 09:32 AM
:
As per Clarifications attached in Addenda dated: 02.12.2024
32amp 3 Phase Generator Inlet/Outlet – To be plugged into including a changeover switch from the mains. MCC will then monitor and determine which circuits will be maintained (on/off)
