ANSWER: Thank you for your enquiry. If you refer to document RFT Part 6B – Schedule of Rates you will see the categories of Trade Services that Council is seeking under this Tender process. If the items you are offering do not fall within these pre-identified categories, you are welcome to email your company’s service details to: procurement@hinchinbrook.qld.gov.au and these will be distributed to the relevant areas of Council who can contact you directly, should they require any of your services.

ANSWER: Given the extensive number of assets currently owned and managed by Council, producing a comprehensive zone map at this stage would be quite complex and potentially not reflective of the actual areas requiring treatment at any given time. As outlined in the RFT - Part 6A - Schedule of Rates - HSC 24-11 document, this ROPS is based on an hourly rate arrangement. This allows Council the flexibility to define the specific scope of work, including the locations and extent of services required, as and when pest control services are engaged.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to base your pricing on the hourly rate structure, with the scope to be refined on a case-by-case basis once services are requested.

In the response document it states: Is the Respondent aware of the relevant provisions within the Principal’s environmental policy and will commit to the requirements of the environmental policy?

However, I can't find the Council's environmental policy to refer to. I've gone to the HSC website and it's hard to locate (if there). May we please receive a copy?

ANSWER: Referring to RFT Part 6A - Response Schedule - HSC 24-11 C - Managerial Tab Schedule C3 - Environmental Management Item 3: Council's Environmental Policy is currently under review and as such, you may select "No" as your response which will not affect any Tenderers scoring criteria when being evaluated. Once the review has been finalised, the policy will be reinstated on Hinchinbrook Shire Council's website for public access.
