Seqwater is the Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority responsible for delivering safe, secure and cost-effective bulk water supply for more than three million people across South East Queensland. We also:

* provide essential flood mitigation services
* manage catchment health and offer community recreation facilities
* provide water for irrigation to about 1,200 farmers across seven water supply schemes.

Seqwater is one of the largest water businesses with the most geographically spread and diverse asset base of any capital city water authority. Our operations extend from the New South Wales border to the base of the Toowoomba ranges.

Design & Construct

Seqwater is undertaking a two-phase procurement process to identify and engage suitably qualified Principal Contractors for the delivery of office accommodation buildings at the Mt Crosby and North Pine Water Treatment Plant sites. The successful contractor(s) will be responsible for progressing the projects from 60% design completion through to Practical Completion.

Phase 1: Expression of Interest (EOI)

Through this EOI process, Seqwater is seeking to identify and shortlist Principal Contractors for participation in the subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) phase. Proponents may submit a response for either site or both sites, as outlined in the Statement of Requirements. Respondents will not be disadvantaged based on their selection of one or both sites.

Phase 2: Request for Tender (RFT)

The RFT will be issued to the shortlisted contractors identified through the EOI process. The RFT is anticipated to commence in mid-October 2026, with contract award expected in late March to early April 2027.

Although the tender invitation is visible on VendorPanel, all tender submissions must be lodged through Seqwater’s new online procurement portal: Zycus Supplier Network (ZSN). The below link is where the documentation and scope are held:
