Details
Kempsey Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced building contractors for the completion of the proposed works to the O’Keefe Road Bank Stabilization, including all associated construction activities. These proposed works are outlined in this scope works and in accordance with the relevant design documentation.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Details
Council’s officers inspected the O’Keefe Road, after reports on the deteriorating condition of the embankment. The inspection identified erosion, and unstable rocks along the embankment. In response to the inspection, it was identified that a longer-term solution to address the bank erosion, and safety risks was required.

Hi

It states that there will be "A pre-tender meeting will be held on the date, at the time and at the place nominated in the advertisement or invitation.

The Contact Person will be available at that time to answer any Tenderer’s queries regarding the RFT.

A non-mandatory meeting will held onsite, please refer to VendorPanel for information" (CoT cl 5.3).

The information in (CoT cl 5.2) shows that there is site access with 48 hrs notice to Client's Representative.

Is there a site meeting or are we to arrange them individually?

Thank you for seeking clarification.

Council confirms that a pre-tender meeting is scheduled for 6 November 2026 at 10:00 am. Neil Ussher is the nominated point of contact for the inspection. He can be contacted via email at neil.ussher@kempsey.nsw.gov.au

This scheduled inspection is separate from the site access provision under CoT cl 5.2. Should a tenderer require site access outside of the scheduled inspection, the applicable notice requirements set out in the RFT will apply.
