Can Council please clarify the public art elements that will be supplied by artists?

1. We note the 5 x Light Artwork will be supplied by Yu-Fang Chi (Artist), but installation and lighting must be supplied by contractor. Do we have specification required by the artist with regard to light provision specification (type of lighting, lumens), and construction methodology - will light structures be bolted down to a pad footing?

2. For the Fungi Climbing structure, do we have any indication of size/scale, or should this be added as a provisional sum with size allowance/assumptions?

3. We note the adaptive reuse of the saleyards, and request the following clarifications:

Is it intended that the original structure is retained and adapted as per the drawings provided? Or that the existing structure is demolished and reinstated with new, with timber elements from the demolition used to re-create the pens/loading ramps as per the concept?

NO, Specification required BOQ has been updated with a $10,000 Provisional item to cover lighting lumen and, YES, Construction methodology will light structures be bolted down to a pad footing only. 2. Fungi Climbing structure, size should be indicitive to concept provided. 3. YES, the intended that the original structure is retained and adapted as per the drawings provided but will require engineering certification, but rear section is required to be demolished.
