Swan Hill Rural City Council, "The Heart of the Murray" is a bustling provincial centre just three and a half hours from Melbourne and five and a half hours from Adelaide.The region is renowned for its world class produce, spectacular landscapes and close proximity to the Murray River. Our region runs adjacent to the Murray River for nearly 200 kilometres and encompasses 6,000 square kilometres and home to 20,000 people.

Council is seeking offers from suitably qualified, experienced and resourced service providers for the provision of after-hours ranger services across the Swan Hill Rural City Council municipality.

The successful service provider will be required to respond to urgent after-hours matters that cannot reasonably wait until the next business day, including animal management incidents, wandering livestock, dog attacks, injured or contained animals, animal welfare concerns and other matters that present an immediate risk to public safety, amenity or Council assets.
