FORWARD PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The Queensland Government acting through the Queensland Police Service (QPS) is preparing to issue an Invitation to Offer (ITO) for the Provision of Cleaning Services for Select Queensland Police Establishments Within the Southern Region, comprising the QPS Districts of Ipswich, Darling Downs and South-West.

QPS seeks to engage with suppliers who are established cleaning services providers, with the capability and capacity to provide high quality, reliable and cost-effective cleaning services for a diverse range of establishments (Police Stations and Watchhouses) ranging in age, size and requirements.

Details in relation to each QPS establishment will be included in the QPS23583 ITO Specification Document.

Suitably capable and qualified Queensland-based Small to Medium sized Enterprises (QLD SME) and/ or indigenous businesses, are encouraged to tender for this opportunity.

The ITO will be advertised on Vendor Panel. You will be required to download the tender documents from the Vendor Panel website and submit your offer before the closing date.

Please note this is a Forward Procurement Notice, not a tender. It is advising the market that there will be an Invitation to Offer (ITO) published in the near future. The tender documents will be provided when the ITO is released.

Mostly internal cleaning of police stations and watchhouses but also some external cleaning, e.g. external walls, walkways, front entrance areas etc. Also cleaning of police vehicles.

Can it be confirmed that the (EOI) Expression of Interest for Forward Procurement Notice Cleaning Services for Police Establishments (Southern Region) from Queensland Police Services is only a formal document that conveys an individual's or a company's interest in engaging in a professional opportunity.

Companies are only required to provide business capability and capability excluding only pricing at this stage.

To be clear, the Forward Procurement Notice (FPN) is just letting suppliers know that we are looking at issuing a formal tender for QPS cleaning services in the Southern Region, to the market in due course. The FPN is just an alert, there is no ITO available yet on Vendor Panel and you do not need to respond at this stage; i.e. you are not required to provide business capability and capability information at this stage. Just ensure you are registered with Vendor Panel and look out for the tender when it is released.

The closing date refers to this Forward Procurement Notice only. When the tender documents are issued there will be a published closing date to receive offers. The documents are still being developed and planned release is in coming weeks.
