The Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority is responsible for: (a) investigating and planning for potential venues and villages, and related infrastructure, for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) is preparing to take three more Brisbane 2032 venues to market. Between October and November 2026, GIICA intends to release head contractor procurement packages for the Logan Indoor Sports Centre, the Moreton Bay Indoor Sports Centre, and the Sunshine Coast Stadium upgrade.

Head Contractor means the contractor engaged by GIICA under the Main Works Contract for each relevant venue. GIICA is seeking the services of experienced, qualified construction companies.

GIICA intends to begin head contractor procurement for three Brisbane 2032 venues from October 2026. This Forward Procurement Notice gives industry early visibility of these opportunities, including the procurement approach and indicative timing for each venue, so that businesses can plan their resourcing and supply chain engagement.
