Question:
In the file 'ITT2517_Schedule_5-Attachment_7-Indicative_Site_Lists_2026.xlsx' - in the sheet 'Zone1B" - Site ID 7538 - there is a line item with a work category 'Weed Control - Contract'. This does not align with anything in the returnable pricing schedule. Please confirm.

Answered on 27/Jan/2026 01:26 PM:

Apologies this is an error and should be HO - Herbicide Only.

Question:
Schedule_5-Attachment_7-Indicative_Site_Lists_2026 - Zone 10A - five sites are shown as 'HO' with total area 0.0961Ha. In the Schedule_6-Appendix_2-Schedule_of_Rates this equivalent area is shown as Brushcut.

Question:
For Schedule 6- Appendix 1: Tender Response Form, Part 2.1 referring to the table at the top of page 3, directly under the heading, as well as on page 4 at the bottom of the page. These 2 tables are requesting the exact same information (excluding a Emergency Plan in the table on page 4), is this correct?

Answered on 29/Jan/2026 10:52 AM:

Apologies the second table was an administrative error. Please provide what is outlined in the table on page 3 where it asks for a worked example.
30/Jan/2026 07:38 AM
Question:
Will you be removing the extra table in section 2.1 and reissuing the document, or can we leave it blank? Also, the questions about the top 3 safety hazards also appears to be duplicated under each of the tables, is this an error as well?

Answered on 30/Jan/2026 10:43 AM:

The second duplication table can be left blank. Further the 3 safety hazards has also been an administrative error duplication and only needs to be answered once.

As some Contractors may have already progressed with the existing Tender Response Form, Council will not reissue. Responses to the questions and the requested documents are only required once.

Question:
Hi & to whom this may concern,

In relation to the separable "Sports field" component of the contract.

We are looking to seek clarification on the following, any feedback or answer would be greatly appreactied.

1. We are looking to confirm that there currently is only 7.8363 hectares of sports field assets available to price, across 7 locations. Is that correct & true?

2. Are there any other sport field assets that are to be included in this package that are suitable with the above 7 known locations, or if thats all thats available?

3. The specification states that there is a possibility for expansion in the sport field asset list, if so and or able to, what amount of hectares could that reach at an approximate? If more than the 7.8363 hectares currently stated to our knowledge.

Thank you for time and consideration of the above questions. We appreciate that tender processes are detailed and demanding, we appreciate and greatly value and feedback you can provide to support a well-informed and compliant submission process.

Kind regards.

Answered on 10/Feb/2026 12:31 PM:

Good afternoon.

Answer to question 1 - Correct Indicative site list refers to the sites located across the region, please note this is indicative only and may vary upon award.

Answer to Question 2 - Not currently however may be included throughout the contract term as per the variation process.

Answer to Question 3 - We can not confirm at this stage, however depending on assets being developed in the region over the contract term, there is no cap on the amount of hectares that could be included. Any large additions will be communicated through and an adjusted program will need to be developed by the contractor.

Kind Regards

Question:
In review of the defined Sports Field Turf and the Common Areas under the Layer List on the Council Map site.

The only defined 'sports field via the map is shown at Currimundi, whereas the Field's at Nirimba are shown as common area's - is this correct.

All other common areas are shown at the Nambour Show Ground site and Petrie Park road site

Please confirm the locations the Sports Turf mowing.

Answered on 18/Feb/2026 11:25 AM:

Nirimba and Currimundi are the only ‘Sports Fields’ in the portion currently.

Nirimba is mapped as common areas as the whole site is managed under rotary mowing, further sports fields are under review for addition in the contract term.

Question:
Good Afternoon,

I note the tender response form asks if we have a MUTCD license. It then asks for TMI and working in proximity to traffic.

It is my undeerstanding that MUTCD training is built up of TMD, TMI and working in proximity to Traffic, and that there is no such things as an MUTCD license - is this correct?

Many thanks in advance for your answer to this question.

Answered on 18/Feb/2026 09:17 AM:

There is no licence issued for the MUTCD itself. The Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) is a standards manual that outlines the requirements, controls, and specifications for all road markings, signs, and traffic management activities. All works are performed in accordance with the MUTCD, as it defines the mandatory competencies and standards applicable to road-related activities.

Good Morning

Under the MUTCD and the associated specifications, contractor personnel are required to hold the appropriate traffic management qualifications. Specifically, Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation is required, which confirms that personnel are competent in reading and interpreting Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS). To obtain TMI accreditation, staff must first complete Working in Proximity to Traffic (WIPT) Part 1 and Part 2, which is mandatory for all contractor staff operating under this specification.

While the MUTCD is not a licence, it is the governing manual that defines the qualifications and sets the standards for all traffic related works. Considering this, the first line in the Licence type table on the Tender Response Form can be ignored.

Question:
Good afternoon,

In the Information Session, it was mentioned tee maintenance works are for the purpose of keeping footpaths clear of hazards. However, Section 8 of the specification states:

Scope of works include but are not limited to:

a. Minor tree pruning and crown lifting no greater than 50mm in diameter.

b. Branch pruning.

c. Transport green waste material.

d. Removal of self-seeded trees or tree suckers at the base of a tree.

e. Vegetation pruning to maintain accurate site mapping.

Can the Principal please clarify if: is the scope intended to be inclusive of all trees and shrubs within or adjacent to mapped service areas, regardless of proximity to footpaths, to include fencelines, residential overgrowth into the mapped area, garden edges, boundary areas to native reserves, and so forth?

Kind regards.

Answered on 26/Feb/2026 06:48 AM:

Yes I can confirm this would be inclusive, some areas could be up for review and further discussion should vegetation be excessive and require additional rectification.
