Question:
We understand that EssenceMediacom are the Queensland Government's contracted master media agency and the master media agency agreements cover all paid media channels as they fall under the whole of government media including paid digital and social amplification. Are you able to confirm that this paid social media campaign sits outside of any master media agreements with EssenceMediacom and an alternative agency can plan and buy paid media on behalf of the Queensland Government or would the participating media agency be required to submit plans to EssenceMediacom to buy and activate?

Answered on 06/Mar/2026 09:35 AM:

Use of the Master Media SOA to place search engine and social media advertising is optional for all Eligible Customers (i.e. Queensland Government departments), therefore an alternative agency can be utilised for this campaign.
09/Mar/2026 11:04 AM
Question:
Can you please indicate sample social media channels the content will appear on? I.e. @david_crisafulli

Will all assignments be briefed by DPC or will individual Government agencies brief directly?

Answered on 09/Mar/2026 12:44 PM:

Content will be posted from the Queensland Government’s official social media accounts – i.e.

Facebook: Queensland Government | Facebook

Instagram: qldgov

YouTube: Queensland Government - YouTube

TikTok: qldgov

All assignments will be briefed by DPC.
09/Mar/2026 12:48 PM
Question:
Where stakeholders need to be engaged for content capture purposes, will Government provide those connections or will the appointed partner need to manage sourcing and comms directly - e.g. for example campaign topic “New grants available for small and family businesses”, would the delivery partner need to source small and family businesses or will preferred connection options be provided?

Answered on 09/Mar/2026 12:58 PM:

This will be on a case-by-case basis depending on the initiative and campaign. Where hero imagery features Queensland Government employee’s or services the DPC team will liaise with the relevant departments to source talent or locations. However, in some instances, we may require the supplier to source locations or talent to feature in the campaign.
09/Mar/2026 03:40 PM
Question:
Could you please give an indication of how you see the ~15 campaigns a week being briefed to your supplier partner? In batches, individually or all at once?

Answered on 09/Mar/2026 08:33 PM:

Where we have line of sight on initiatives, we will brief them in advance and can brief in batches. However, where we don’t, initiatives will be briefed on a 24-hr turnaround time, individually to ensure speed to market.
10/Mar/2026 02:13 PM
Question:
The research data mentioned in the Creative Brief - Key Message/s. Is this being supplied by DPC or will the supplier be required to source this?

Answered on 11/Mar/2026 08:26 AM:

Research will be supplied by DPC and is not in scope for this tender.
10/Mar/2026 02:16 PM
Question:
Regarding end-to-end media: Can you provide links to the social channels? Can you also confirm organic posting will not be required, and that the creative and copy for each organic post will need to be supplied directly to DPC for distribution?

Answered on 11/Mar/2026 08:01 AM:

Content will be posted from the Queensland Government’s official social media accounts – i.e.

Facebook: Queensland Government | Facebook

Instagram: qldgov

YouTube: Queensland Government - YouTube

TikTok: qldgov

Organic posting will not be required; however, paid placement (including ad build) will be required.
