Queensland Health System Procurement is holding an industry consultation session about this Medical Consumables sourcing activity.

Planned date: 28 October 2026

Duration: Approximately 30 minutes

Session time and attendance details: 2:00pm - 2:30pm

The session will provide an overview of the activity, the HHS-supported sourcing principles and Queensland Health’s proposed approach to engaging with the market. It will cover clinical suitability, competition, supply resilience and regional access, including consideration of comparable demand across HHSs and relevant Statewide Needle Exchange demand.

The aim is to improve the engagement process and support sustainable outcomes for Queensland Health. Supplier perspectives and proposals for additional value are welcome. The discussion is intended to build confidence in the sourcing approach and support high-quality ITO responses that can contribute to improved contractual arrangements, with sustainability as a core focus.

Suppliers may also provide written feedback or proposals through VendorPanel after the session.

Submissions will be reviewed and considered but may not necessarily be adopted or reflected in the final requirements.

Final requirements and evaluation information will be set out through the ITO.
