Question
:
1) BSC5021-Part_D-Response-Schedules-Fire_Protection_Equipment_Installation_T, specifically Response Schedule 2, refers to three worksheets that need to be completed under BSC5021 – Response Schedule 2 – Schedule of Prices – Service Schedule and Equipment. However, upon checking the Excel workbook, only two sheets are available for completion: Schedule of Prices and Variation Rates. Could you confirm if a sheet is missing, or if these two are the only ones required?
2) The Fire Extinguisher assets in the same excel file include quantities, but similar information isn’t readily available for all other assets. Is there a comprehensive asset register that can be shared, or any details on asset quantities?
Answered on 12/Jan/2026 08:43 AM
:
1) Please note that the mention of 3 worksheets is incorrect, and that there is only 2 that require completion.
2) Cells in the worksheet that are highlighted yellow, including the extinguishers, are still to be confirmed. Once the works have been confirmed, the rates provided in the "Variation Rates" sheet will be applied accordingly to that asset.

Question
:
Could the current spreadsheet please be amended to include the following additional rows:
• Fire Hose Reels – include an additional row for the annual flow test.
• Fire Hydrant Systems – include an additional row for the annual flow test.
• Emergency/Exit Lighting – as the EEL test takes approximately 90 minutes, a per-asset price is not commercially viable for sites with only a small number of lights. Could additional rows be added to reflect the following quantity brackets:
o 1–10 lights
o 11–20 lights
o Over 20 lights
• AFSS preparation and submission – as sites vary in size, complexity, and the number of EFSMs, a standard per-site rate is not practical. Can the tender spreadsheet be amended to allow tenderers to provide an hourly rate for AFSS assessment and preparation, or alternatively to price each site individually?

Due to difficulties in providing a complete assets schedule, Council is now just requesting the completion of pricing per item, rather than per location
