Penrith City Council is a large general purpose Local Government Authority in New South Wales. It is a dynamic organisation located approximately 55 kilometres west of Sydney’s Central Business District at the foothills of the Blue Mountains. Penrith is one of the larger metropolitan local government areas, covering an area of 404.9 square kilometres with a population of approximately 194,134.

Council is seeking to engage a suitably experienced contractor to manage the delivery of resource recovery education incursion sessions to primary school groups within the Penrith Local Government Area. Currently Council contracts out 80 days worth of primary school resource recovery education sessions per year (20 days per term, 4-5 sessions/classes per day) and are looking to continue this arrangement. Council intends to enter into a 1-year agreement with the successful supplier.

The successful supplier will show demonstrated experience booking, managing and delivering engaging primary school resource recovery education sessions.

Educators delivering incursions must have a current Working With Children Check.
