The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the roof

replacement of Block L (Languages Block) at Alexandra Hills SHS, located at 3-27 Windemere Rd, Alexandra Hills QLD

4161, as part of the Targeted (TARGETED) program.

The Language Block is utilised as a general learning Block which houses 9 classrooms, international staff and student

rooms, storerooms, amenities, and an unenclosed covered area. The position of the building is towards the northeast

corner of the school with somewhat difficult access and working space. All works are to be completed by May 2026.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

? Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

? Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are

required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
