Ipswich is centrally located in the booming south east Queensland region of Australia. To the east is the capital city Brisbane, and to the west are the rural and agricultural areas of the Brisbane, Lockyer and Fassifern Valleys. Ipswich proudly preserves and still operates from many of its historical buildings and homes, with more than 6000 heritage-listed sites. Ipswich also has a range of charming townships within the western rural areas of the city, each with its own legitimate claims of historical significance.

Ipswich City Council is seeking to engage one or more suitably experienced and qualified Contractors to undertake the required restoration works across multiple locations throughout the LGA. The works will be carried out via two separable portions as follows:

• Separable Portion 1: Gravel Roads

• Separable Portion 2: Sealed Ancillary Roads

The award of the separable portions to one or more contractors will be based on the risk associated with the proposed project timeframes for each portion in meeting QRA delivery requirements being met and value for money outcomes.

Question: SP2 - Please confirm Bowles Road is Runham Road. Appears as Runham Road on ICC mapping but Bowles Road street view.

Answer: Council confirms that Bowles road is Runham road. For QRA reporting purposes, the description will be required to remain as is.

No there is no photographs available. Addresses and locations of the sites have been provided should tenderer's wish to undertake site briefings.

The following question has been received:

- in relation to SP2 sealed roads, considering the vast spread of site locations and varied tasks involved, would council be open to having the works done based on rates for labour, materials, equipment and management involved with completing each area based on a tendered schedule of rates for them?

Council's response is as follows:

- Council will consider an alternative offer with the submission of a conforming offer. In accordance with the Conditions of Offer should you choose to submit an alternative offer only, your offer may be deemed none conforming.
