Question
:
Good Morning,
Rock Solid Group would like to know if there is any need for NDT on any ferrous components within this tender.
RSG is the holder of the BEM™ patent for ferrous infrastructure assessment applied throughout the nuclear power generation industry in the USA, and would like to know if this technology would be applicable in this scenario, and if so, would this be conducted independently or through a major engineering group who can tackle the full scope of works requested.
Regards,
Rock Solid Group.

:
Hi Martin
I don't think this would be needed, we know that some of our roofs are in need of repair, and some are in the process of being replaced.
The roof quality will be quite evident with visual inspection. The roof cavity of the buildings are accessible.
Thats what we are mainly after, when it comes to the assessment of the roof structure for a solar installation.
Cheers
