Tenderers are more than welcome to visit the area and inspect the existing furnitures.

Question:
Hi there, would it be possible to arrange for a site inspection please? Here are also some clarification questions:

- On the Pricing spreadsheet Council has listed Housing- is this for the fabrication of the infrastructure? Or is this to transport and install? With the plants does Council have desired plant numbers per unit?

- With the plant replacement can we get more information on the sizing ie small is 140mm, medium is 200mm, large is 300mm. And are we proposing the plants and species? Or does Council have a design or concept you would like achieved for the display.

- With the growing media it says to refer to schedule 3 but I cant seem to find this in the documents. What is the capacity of each unit and soil media specification?

- With relocation works, is the infrastructure currently stored somewhere and needs to be transported to each site? If so where is it stored and how long is the display period?

- with the Hanging Baskets does Council have a design for the plants that will be displayed? Are we to arrange the grow on for these?

- Inspection of existing infrastructure is welcome at any time. However, there will not be briefing or walk with Council personnel

- Pricing for housing should include Fabrication, transport, and install in place inclusive of plants both Accents and Surrounds

- 3 Accent Plants per box

- Yes, suppliers will be proposing the plants and species to satisfy performance requirements

- Min accent plants will be 3, unless agreed otherwise

- Desired display will be – high contrast pairing, surround plants to completely obscure soil (or housing for hanging baskets)

- Small is 150-300mm in height, medium is 300-600mm in height, and large is 600mm in height

- Schedule 3 is removed and replaced with Attachment 4. The capacity will need to be a design requirement component from the supplier to confirm with ‘Draffin Street Furniture (Council Panel Supplier)’. Soil Media specification will be suppliers’ proposal in meeting with Council’s Tender Condition Environmental Sustainability Requirements

- Majority of Street Furniture is currently in place as per Schedule and in Attachment 6. Relocation destination will be within the Waverley Local Government Area. Storage will be in Suppliers Yard. Display Period will be 12 months

- Hanging Basket Plants – suppliers are to propose and grow these on 6 months rotation

The question "Tenderers are to also outline the proposed methodology to be used for this project, no longer than 2 pages in length in the response space provided below" are in both Schedules T5 and T8. Can you kindly confirm if this isn't an error and that a methodology is to be provided twice?
