Question:
Q1: 2.1 (b) Mandatory - Will all vessels constructed require inspection and certification by AMSA surveyor or just the first class for each Tier?

Q2: 1.5(a)(i) Vessel Survey and Compliance - As per table 1 ‘Key Specifications’ the requested NSCV class is 2E and 2D, SES vessels are usually placed into the ‘non-survey’ category with these classes. Can you please just clarify that the vessels are required to be ‘in survey’ and not ‘non survey’ approval as there is a significant cost difference?

Q3: 1.5(a)(iii) Vessel Survey Compliance - Please clarify if this is to confirm the Supplier must be able to register the vessel with AMSA or do you mean there is additional QLD State registration requirements?

Q4: 1.8(b) Welders - Please advise if an AMSA surveyor welding certificate would be required for each vessel or just the initial first of class for each tier?

Q5: 1.10.1(a) Vessel Tests and Trials - Please advise if representative trials will be required for every vessel or just the first of class of each tier?

Q6: 1.11(a)(i)(B) Delivery Location - Please clarify the extent of what would be expected from ‘professionally detailed’ noting that the normal process of transport would cause minor uncleanliness?

Q7: 2.2(a) & (d) Collars/Tubes - Please clarify the criteria for sectional collars noting that inflatable collars have been requested. Inflatable collars are not constructed in such a way that sections could be replaced. Do you mean the inflatable collars should have sectional air chambers so that if one chamber gets damaged and deflates it won’t affect the other chambers?

Q8: 2.12(a)(ii) Signage - Are drafted artwork files or artwork files of similar signage able to be provided for the purposes of completing costings?

Question:
Dear QPS,

Paragraph 1.6b)x) requires "... (SWL) stamped on the towing bollard and Loadcell Report."

Is there a specified SWL required?

The requirement for a loadcell report indicates physical testing is required. Please elaborate on the towing arrangement(s) required for operation, and the testing outcomes and documentation required.

Please clarify the intent, and specific outcomes required by paragraph 2.6 b): "Bollard pulls certification as per AMSA DCV compliance required".

Please denote the relevant section of the NSCV (or otherwise) which is relevant and elaborate on the design, testing and documentation requirements.

Kind regards

Question:
Hi There,

With respect to the Part D Pricing Workbook, under the heading Optional/Additional, could you please clarify whether you are seeking optional pricing for alternative brands or models (e.g., electronics, propulsion, trailer), or whether you require a pricing breakdown of these components from the base vessel price?

For example, should the base vessel price include the offered electronics, propulsion and trailer in the Build/Completion Details, with optional alternatives listed only in the Optional/Additional section?

thank you
