Question:
1. Shade Structure and Heat Considerations

Will heat mitigation and thermal performance need to be considered in the design of the shade structure? Please confirm whether a hard-roof structure, such as insulated roof panels, is preferred or whether a shade-sail-style structure would be suitable.

2. Ground Preparation

As the proposed structure will be constructed on previously undeveloped ground, please confirm whether a new substrate, such as a compacted gravel base, is required before construction begins.

3. Finished Ground Level and Drainage

Please confirm whether the substrate or finished ground level needs to be raised to minimize the risk of surface-water ingress and provide adequate drainage.
