East Gippsland Water serves an area of 21,000 square kilometres in the far south east of Victoria, which boasts some of Australia’s most diverse and spectacular scenery and a population of around 45,000 people.

Water services are provided to some 26,450 customers, with wastewater services also provided to around 22,490 of these.

East Gippsland Water’s service area extends east from Lindenow, through to the region’s capital Bairnsdale, the holiday hotspots of Paynesville and Lakes Entrance, and on to the Wilderness Coast and Mallacoota near the New South Wales border. It also serves customers as far north as Dinner Plain in the High Country of the Victorian Alps.

East Gippsland Water (EGW) invites offer from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Provision of Vehicle Loading Cranes Inspection and Maintenance Services.

The scope of services includes statutory inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification, operational and safety testing, certification and associated reporting for vehicle loading cranes equipped on EGW's fleet. The Contractor shall provide all labour, equipment, tools, testing devices, materials, and expertise necessary to deliver the services in accordance with applicable legislation, Australian Standards, manufacturer specifications and industry best practice.

The objective of the contract is to ensure that all vehicle loading cranes are serviced and maintained to support their ongoing safe operation, reliable performance, and availability. This will be achieved through the delivery of scheduled inspections, testing, preventative and corrective maintenance.

The contract will be established for an initial term of three (3) years. Subject to EGW’s satisfaction and mutual agreement by both parties, the contract may be extended for a period of 2x 1 year (a total of 5 years).
