The Department of Transport and Main Roads provides reliable, resilient and responsive transport networks and digital services that are safe and accessible for everyone. This procurement is led by TMR's Information Technology branch (ITB).

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) invites highly capable, experienced and genuinely suitable Suppliers to register their interest for a forthcoming Invitation to Offer (ITO) for Security Operations Centre (SOC) Managed Services to establish a co-managed SOC.

The Department is seeking the establishment of a co-managed SOC where the Supplier works in collaboration with the Department’s existing Cyber Defence Team.

The scope of Services will include:

(a) security monitoring services (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year);

(b) Cyber Incident Response including detection, investigation, containment, eradication and recovery;

(c) jointly managing the Department's Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Platform(s) and associated platform features and components to enhance security operations and maturity; and

(d) supporting future planning and continuous improvement.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) is part of a multi-stage Invitation Process.

This EOI seeks Submissions from highly capable, experienced and genuinely suitable Suppliers for the Departments assessment and shortlisting to invite to a future ITO. To qualify, Supplier's MUST submit a Conforming Submission which includes:

(a) completing the Confidentiality Deed;

(b) satisfying all Mandatory Compliance Criteria;

(c) satisfying all Mandatory Requirements; and

(d) addressing all other conditions specified for Conforming Submissions, as set out in the EOI attached.

Only Conforming Submissions will be assessed for the purpose of shortlisting Suppliers to respond to the future ITO.

The Customer is seeking to engage a single Supplier for a period of 1 year (from the Services Commencement Date of the Managed Services), with an option to extend for an additional 1-year period.

Further details including the Mandatory Compliance Criteria, Mandatory Requirements and Evaluation Criteria for the Customer's assessment and shortlisting to participate in the future ITO are set out in the attached documents.

Suppliers are advised that any subsequent contract(s) will use the Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) Framework.
