To ensure a consistent scope and pricing allowance across all sites, please clarify the following requirements:

Duress system

Appendix 5.0 does not appear to detail the required works associated with the duress equipment listed in the Appendix 1.0 Bill of Materials.

Please confirm whether every site is required to have the following equipment installed where it is not already present:

Duress indicator lights

Red duress button within the PWD room

Where these devices are already installed and confirmed as serviceable and fit for purpose, can they be retained, or are they required to be replaced with the equipment prescribed in Appendix 1.0?

Takex PE beam and entry annunciator buzzer

The Takex PE beam and entry annunciator buzzer are not referenced within the detailed scope in Appendix 5.0 or the site requirements in Appendix 3.0.

Please confirm whether:

These devices are to be installed at every site where they are not currently fitted; or

They are only required at sites specifically identified within the discovery documentation or site Bill of Materials.

For sites where EACS is already installed, please confirm whether:

All existing readers must be replaced with HID/Inner Range Hybrid Signo SIFER readers; or

Existing compliant and serviceable readers may be retained.

Existing electric strikes, magnetic locks, reeds and door hardware may be retained where serviceable.

Non-prescribed but functional locking hardware must be replaced to achieve the uniform statewide installation.
