The Gladstone Region is located in Central Queensland, approximately 550 kilometres north of Brisbane and covers an area of 10,500 square kilometres. With two of the world’s largest alumina refineries, Queensland’s largest multi commodity port and a number of other major industrial giants sited locally, the Gladstone region is known for its employment opportunities and skilled workforce.

GRC’s management of its urban forest, parks and open spaces and other regional areas is focussed on a range of priorities around the liveability and safety of the communities, environmental benefits to residents and the aesthetics of the suburbs.

This will entail the delivery of both scheduled and unscheduled, reactive and proactive arboriculture services

to attend to the tree assets across the greater region to ensure that all the priorities can be delivered.

This tender shall result in the establishment of two separate arrangements:

1) Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA); and

2) Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (RPQS)

Tenderers are invited to bid on one, or more of the arrangements. GRC may choose, in its absolute discretion, to award the PSA to different tenderers or award to one Tenderer.
