Details

Metro South Health (MSH) is undertaking a strategic procurement to replace ageing Cardiotocography (CTG) monitoring systems across its maternity services. CTG systems are critical clinical monitoring devices used during both antepartum and intrapartum care to monitor foetal heart rate and uterine activity, supporting the assessment of foetal wellbeing and enabling timely clinical intervention when required.

MSH currently operates approximately 65 CTG monitoring systems across its facilities, of which 40 units have been nominated for replacement for this procurement.

Details

The procurement comprises a bundled product and service solution including the supply, installation, commissioning, integration, training, warranty, maintenance, and lifecycle support of an initial tranche of 40 CTG monitoring systems.

The procurement will also support the establishment of a standardised CTG platform and a streamlined OEM-backed monitoring environment across Metro South Health maternity services.

The scope includes:

• Supply of CTG monitoring systems suitable for both antepartum and intrapartum monitoring.

• Associated transducers, connectivity interfaces, trolleys, telemetry components, accessories, and consumables.

• Integration with Metro South Health's Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) environment and compatibility with existing patient monitoring infrastructure.

• Clinical and biomedical training.

• Warranty, preventative maintenance, spare parts, and lifecycle support services.

• Future fleet replacement pricing and support arrangements.

• Establishment of a streamlined OEM-backed maintenance and support model.
